Sungrow leads the way for Chinese companies switching to renewable electricity

Led by The Climate Group in partnership with CDP, RE100 now brings together more than 230 major companies from around the world committed to 100% renewable electricity. Many of these have operations and supply chains in China.

The company has a broad product portfolio offering PV inverter solutions and energy storage systems for utility-scale, commercial& industrial, and residential applications, as well as internationally recognized floating PV plant solutions and wind energy converters. With a 23-year track record in the PV space, Sungrow products power installations in over 60 countries. The company commits to sourcing 100% renewable electricity across its entire global operations by 2028.

Sungrow’s commitment demonstrates their CSR commitment to a “Green mission, better life”, promoting sustainable development and adopting sustainable practices in its facilities. In addition to introducing energy-saving measures in factories, the company is providing electric buses for staff travel and installing rooftop PV systems at all facilities. The company qualified for the National Green Factories standard in China, demonstrating their continuous transformation to zero carbon plants.
